July 31 – August 4 * Drawing on Metal, Wild Acres Retreat in Little Switzerland, NC
Description: This class focuses on my technique for drawing on metal with colored pencils. Learn to add color and excitement to your work with my special technique. We will work on design and finishing as well. All levels welcome. Cost: $995 Note: cost includes room and board (shared room/17 meals)
September 21 -25 * 5-5-10, Arrowmont School of Arts and Craft in Gatlinburg, TN
(5 days, 5 projects, 10 techniques) This fun, fast paced class will focus on fabrication techniques, creating surface interest and volume, connection techniques, and finishing. All levels welcome.

Hi Deb, are you planning on doing any workshops before September?
Yes, I hope to teach in Cornwall, England in June and at Wild Acres in North Carolina in July. I will probably also slip a class in some time in late spring or summer in my studio in North Carolina.
Do you have dates for your NC workshop yet? I might be able to arrange something traveling from MN if I get enough heads up. 🙂
I will email the July class registration to you and I just posted the dates for the fabrication classes.

I’ll be watching your workshop list as well. Maybe a return to your midwest roots might be in order? 🙂 I’ll gladly travel. I’m not one of those artists that has to have something in my back-yard, but given how unpleasant it is to fly these days, if Ican drive in a day, that’d be my hope. Your work is gorgeous! I’ve not had the pleasure of seeing it in person yet as the 2 galleries around me (in WI and MN) don’t currently have any of your things that I can see. I’m dying to see your drawing on metal in person!!
