I’m heading off to teach a fabrication class for metals week at Idyllwild in California.   Most people know me for working with color but I just want to say that if you don’t have a good design and you don’t know how to fabricate a functional piece of jewelry all the color in the world is not going to help you.  It’s too late to get into the Idyllwild class but you can come to North Carolina for a class in August.  This piece is a pin/pendant that will be featured in an upcoming show at Crimson Laurel Gallery, opening July 1…Strange Offerings: Beyond the Garden Gate.  It is made up of sterling silver, copper, brass, reclaimed antique ivory, and prismacolor.bud bite - 300dpi
